Beauty sleeping
She dances on the rim
of a crystal glass
her svelte like form
captivates and enchants
the crystal to sing
its hypnotic tune
to the stars of the night
and the silvery moon.
With every pirouette
around the thin edge of time
she seduces your heart
with movements sublime
she has grace
she has beauty
and cavorts with the clouds
with the smile of an angel
she cuts through the crowd
of the fears and the doubts
that confront in your mind
then with a wink of her eye
she invites you to dine
on the fruits of
her body
her soul
and her lips
a seductress of fortune
a siren - of the eclipse.
You sense no danger
there's a thrill in the air
electricity ignites
the moment you will share
to dance in the sparkle
of a mountain stream
to shimmer in the moonlight
of a fantastical dream
adrift on the mystery
of a perfumed sea
embraced in the heart
of a mystical queen.
You skip on the clouds
no emotion in retreat
every beat of your heart
dancing waltz in the street
then a moment of silence
as the crystal shatters
now fragments in the depth
of a slumber so deep.
Bugger! It was only dream :-)
