A well known devil
came to whisper in her ear,
and while he whispered
ironically he smiled:
You poor damned fools,
you children of the humankind
are doomed to never be
entirely satisfied
imprisoned by your urge
to always try compare
what you have before you
with the picture-perfect
you grew within your mind.
