I knew not, what it was

Teardrops in her heart
And I approached her
With a mission in my head
To make her cheery from inside
And to make her laugh again
Saw through my efforts, she
accepted gracefully
And made me happy too
With, her inner glee
She made me understand
How very good I am
How noble my heart is
Full o' passion and romance
A bond of trust and care
With a hint of love in it
Like a concoction brewing
In its very early stage
She loved me like no other
I loved her, best I could
We promised to be together
For a long time in the future
