Daffodil.

Your yellow embrace
Wipes the tears from my face.
When spring ends
You'll be the death of me.

Let the scene of wild flowers
Flourish from my soul.

Your yellow embrace
Puts a smile upon my face.
When spring ends
You'll be the making of me.

Wonderful poem!

I love this one. I read it yesterday and my thoughts often returned to it. It's beautiful, but there's something more. I can't quite put my finger on it, and I think that adds to the appeal. *bookmarked*
