some kind of love

knowing when
you're not needed
and when you are
or even if you aren't
you're still there

wanting when
you are needed
even though you aren't
and if you aren't
understanding

being when
you are
and when you aren't
complacent
patient

is it good or bad
and how can you know
unless you reveal
to that person
and to yourself
