Go with your gut.

If I ever get dragged into
or lectured into
something that they think is a good idea -
Other than quitting it, I will also have to forgive myself.
Cause sure, they CAN justify it.
But sometimes 'making sense' ... is overrated.

I like the force of these words, and I love the idea,
and i think that the words and their meaning really hit a nerve.
Short but good.

And so, this poem reminds me of the words uttered by
the grumpy recordstore owner Rob in High Fidelity:

"I've been thinking with my guts since I was fourteen years old, and frankly speaking, between you and me, I have come to the conclusion that my guts have shit for brains."
