To You

To sing to dance to write for you
Bring the waves of summery light trees to blaze
Whilst I laze the dreamy, morning haze and drink
Coffee enough to smooth out the rough spots of thought
Of yet another line of rhyme looming to spin for you
Thin the thick and trick the tricky verses into
Doing that you would have them do
For all is well and so into
To sing to dance to write for you.
