We at BBP high coo this haiku, appropriately for the location our friend recalls. We like the 'm' sounds very much, and also their sudden disappearance for the last line's 'dissolved'. Applause!

I was taken by the beauty of these few words too.
Katmai is a volcano in Alaska so the well chosen words make it magical or even metaphorical.
