Of Paper White

My love had skin of paper white
So egg shell thin and filled with light,
A river rustled through her hair which fell
Like waterfalls into a dreaming shell,

My world was lit from deep within
She wrote me on her paper skin,
Like all the stars which spell the night
So egg shell thin and paper white,

With words she read me tides and fate
And that I dared not speculate,
Against a darkness without a name
Her heart poured out an undying flame,

Like water falls into a dreaming shell
A river rustled through her hair which fell,
So egg shell thin and filled with light
My love had skin of paper white,
