Beings In Love

Being in love with you
Is unlike anything else
I have ever known,
It is the human way to dream and yearn
For a moment or moments to occur
Something to stir the ordinary shades of Day
Into something extraordinary
Afar out on the horizon sails into view
Living in houses with the ghosts of ghosts
Reading tales of haunted pasts on lathes and looms
A wave of Grace within your face other rooms
Open behind those eyes of gray which Heaven gave
Perhaps they see in me something of worth to save
Being in love with you
I see it too...
