Perfection

Perfection
this unreachable goal
set by the soul
to give reason to life
but if our whole lives are spent trying to achieve this goal
then we all live in vain
but the few who choose to accept their imperfection
are seen as mediocre and insane
are these the limits of a human brain?
must we all look towards an unreachable goal to move forward?
what is love?
isnt love a form of perfection?
it is the closest we can get to touching our unreachable goal
but isnt it just an emotion?
chemical signals mixing with spiritual belief and the entire desire of the mind to achieve
the final goal..
but the paradox of this equation though
is that love can be lost
perfect it seems until it is taken away
it touches on what we feel for perfection
then leaves us wayward
takes away all our emotional protection
then stabs away
at what we think, feel, and how we live
but isnt how we live dedicated to achieve perfection?
if touching pefection results in causing pain
then why do we spend our lives in vain
trying to attain
this unreachable goal of perfection??
call me mediocre
call me insane
but to me its insane to live in vain
these electrical signals firing off in my brain
tell me that how im living right now is in vain
but i cant change
because my soul is still linked to my way of life
to find a way for perfection, life and love to be intertwined
so then my soul is defined
as another lemming in this world of mine
these lemmings that take their death leap
over the cliffs of uncertainty
into the drowning waters of love and false security
bashing into the rocks of deception and lies
then being eaten alive
by the whale of life
and being excreted as food for paracites
who just feed on people's need and their goal
to find love, to find perfection...to find life
