Prayer
I put on my brave face and face the worldi have my coat on because life s cold
if God hears one of my prayers from my faceless soul
my life would have a purpose , so this prayer is told
my prayer is that there would be happiness in yours
be it with me or someone else close
my body retains its darkness except for this
this one light which i send to you
this one prayer i hope you read
this one life i hope you bless
and your worries about my soul would be less
so i pray to thee
i bow before you...my eyes to the floor
i know you never heard from me before
but i ask one thing
not to be too profound
just something simple, hear my soul's simple sound?
just one person for you to grant your blessing
this is not my plea for my selfish being
but from an anonymous soul to you...please hear me sing
