I tend to hide under covers or sleep on the floor when I feel
desperately lonely. I've had conversations with the ceiling fan and with my pillow as I start to recover, and I write in my notebook. I write pages and pages and pages of stuff I throw away later. That seems to help sometimes. It's ok to feel lonely, and sad sometimes, even if you don't think so at the time.

I agree with Jim; I probably wouldn't want the reflection of my loneliness staring back at me in the bathroom. I might talk to myself though.

Yes and no. I've been that lonely, but I would I be the last person I'd choose to see.
