there are poets

there are poets
who have no new thoughts
who play with words
and bore us to tears

there are poets
whose words are only on the paper
to impress
their pathetic equals

on the other hand

there are poets
who examine ideas
disect concepts
and create art

there are poets
who with a well chosen phrase
change everything
(Not with bang but a whimper.)
