when fades happily ever after
do not fix our gaze upon the eastwhere labour's whispers won't have ceased
now creaking joints approach a feast
lights are dimming and brows are creased
on glistering thresholds, above a stream
of well wishers spying on secret dream
those sun-kissed fields rejoice and beam
restores a sparkle of long lost gleam
while dust in dust the earth forget
engrave on silver-winged regret
