twilight thoughts

it creeps up even on old men
the burning desire
that will never be fulfilled

occasionally it strikes
blue jet lightning
from a clear violet sky

addling the brain
making demands
that cannot be refused

searching infinity
for the perfect phrase
made up of imperfect words
