Sittin' in the sun on a warm afternoon
Sippin' on a gin and tonic
I hear in my head an old country tune
Hmmmm it's stereophonic
I'm just takin' it easy, takin' it slow
Ain't in no hurry, got no where to go
Watchin' the kids as they play in the yard
You know they grow so fast now
Remembering how we played so hard
But that's all in the past now
I'm just takin' it easy, taking it slow
Ain't in no hurry, got no where to go
The only thing I miss is my sweet wife
Known her since I was seven
But I know when she's finished her life
She'll join me here in heaven
Till then I'm takin' it easy, takin' slow

Ain't in mo hurry, could sure use a lime
