High Beams on Catseyes

high beams on the catseyes
the road seemed so long and straight
but in the night the light can be decieving
tricking you because a detour is in sight

but i felt when i was going wayward
when there was no more moon in the sky
my happiness began to dwindle
like the light reflecting from a parallel sun

this warmth i feel is only mental
venus's trickery is epitomised
to confuse the hearts and minds of men
when looking into those eyes

this smile is only superficial
a facade to hide the truth
thats my light eflecting from a parallel sun
happiness in that parallel universe

but this road of life i see
has many junctions to take
but your catseyes just like contacts
come off because they're fake

BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL POEM!

"my happiness began to dwindle
like the light reflecting from a parallel sun"

I like the unique idea of a parallel sun.

YOU ARE A DISCOVERY DEAR STEVE!

Welcome to the bay!
