near and far

 

 ~

 

 

i was falling asleep

as i was writing, nodding off, and

in that brief moment

or moments, i dreamed of someone

coming very close

 

our lips brushed, i felt 

the very tip of her tongue

slip between my lips

 

i opened my mouth a little

then i woke and felt disoriented

and a little sick to my stomach

 

i know my dreams have no meaning

and great meaning

all i can think is, so close

I see my dream - as my personal DVD. In some I fechera as the star!
Some dreams I had for years - till I understood what the dream were saying - when I understood the meaning - those dream stopped - my dreaming moved on!

Dreams are always interesting. I think they clean out what's in our minds, and that one, was a good one. :-)

I can't think of anything more intriguing than trying to figure out what our dreams mean. As I've grown old so have my dreams, no longer of desire but of being lost, and not in somewhere unknown but in familiar places, knowing where I am but unable to move ahead, dreams and life become more the same thing.

Sometimes are dreams are so real, they leave us feeling discomforted - I have had many dreams, some eerily prophetic, yet at the time didn't realise but they remained with me - you write this well
