There are Creatures in My Room!


There are creatures in my room.
Crawling out of the womb.
Crawling out of the gloom.
Returning from the tomb.

I'm in this place of quiet ghosts.
Parasites and bodyhosts.
Coming back from ancient times.
Calling back those past time crimes.

Bloody child with absent strings.
Trying to fly but got no wings.
Trying to live but got no heart.
All affections are held apart.

Fetuses with scornful smiles.
Predators and cruel reptiles.
Whispering with quiet voice.
Screaming out malignant noise.

Crawling out of the womb.
Returning from the tomb.
Crawling out of the gloom.
These creatures in my room.

True Words Embellished
This is... great. Very dark and foreboding. A lot of emotion and creepy mental images.

The only thing that speaks against it is that I can hear Danni Filth screaming in my head when I read it and you don't strike me as the type to listen to Cradle of Filth so I assume that wasn't the point.

It would make a nice death metal song though, even if I don't exactly love that genre of music. ;)
