For those that do not know, the Outer Banks are the barrier islands along the coast of North Carolina. Home to pirates back in the day and where the Wright Brothers first flew!

As vacation time comes near
It is my favorite time of year.
The place I love to go the most
Is the gorgeous Carolina coast.
That salty strip of land.
Of sun, surf and golden sand.
I gotta go to the Outer banks

I'm Outer Banxious
I can't wait to get down there
I'm Outer Banxious
There's no worry and no care.
A little slice of heaven
For which all should give thanks.

I love the Outer Banks.

There is so much history
Down there by the sea.
Pirates that worked by night
Pilots of man's first flight
Watching horses running wild
Makes me feel just like a child.
I gotta go to the Outer Banks

An escape from your daily grind.
You will not find a better place

Take a trip to this southern shore
