Cabin Fever

The sky is gray and the wind is blowin'.
I wonder if it'll ever stop snowin'.
I'm sittin' here with tequila in hand
Wishin' I was in the warm tropic sand.

Cabin fever, I'm goin' out of my mind.
Cabin fever, feelin' so confined.
I must escape this icy prison
Find a cocktail with a lime.
Cabin fever, please save me from this grind.

No doc needed, just send me on my way
Down to the islands and let this boy play.
Snow is pretty, but I prefer white sand.
Get me movin' to the rhythm of the band.

Cabin fever, I'm goin' out of my mind.
Cabin fever, feelin' so confined.
I must escape this icy prison
Find a cocktail with a lime.
Cabin fever, please save me from this grind.

I don't want to live in ice and snow.
Take me down island let me see the sunset glow.

Cabin fever, I'm goin' out of my mind.
Cabin fever, feelin' so confined.
I must escape this icy prison
Find a cocktail with a lime.
Cabin fever, please save me from this grind.

Hi JustBob.. I like this one very much. It reminds me of the songs a local group used to sing when I lived in the upper peninsula of Michigan. They were called the Yuppers (U.P rs) and all their songs were about living in that snowy area. I hope you manage to get out from under that snow ... been there ... but no more.
Tomorrow is BBQ at the beach!:) and you are invited.
