I Am Glass

I am glass
Nothing is hidden behind this wall

But a wall nonetheless

We are close
Open and honest.

Taking a step back when required

So have a care
For if I should shatter

You will have to tread carefully
For quite some time to come.

Or receive a sharp reminder.

Meantime
We can still see each other.

A great metaphor, very well handled. Nice work.

The glass metaphor works brilliantly, clever. I especially liked the line "or receive a sharp reminder."

When you are glass - what you see is what you get - treat with care! A good write - Yanto. Thank you.

Open and honest--sharp and to the point. Metaphors are great ways of teaching and reaching out, poetically speaking.

A wonderful metaphor. Beware of people when they shatter.

A very sensitive write, and a beautiful. one.
I like the contrast of the caution, with the concession in the last line.
Love it.
