This child of the sixties
Just a little more grey...
Long flowing summer dresses
Roses interspersed with tresses
Cup cakes like warm caresses
With a secret ingredient
She`s Psychedelia Smith

She`s the flour Power lady
Whose baking was the talk of the village fete
Thanks to the extra sprinkles
Of herbal love upon the plate
Festivities went on till late
The Vicar is her new best mate
She`s Psychedelia Smith

Watched the police arrive on her drive
Met them with her special Quiche
Full of smiles and love
Sat them in a circle
Pointed out the clouds above
Were wonderful shapes
They forgot they came to raid the greenhouse
Of Psychedelia Smith.

The WVS seasonal jaunt
To the same old seaside haunt
Held a vote and decided
On board refreshments
Should be provided
By Psychedelia Smith
And had to add an extra coach
A fantastic day out, with a minimum of fuss
Nobody bothered to get off the bus
