Yesterday a very dreary day of wind and rain produced a morning of crisp clear frosty weather in Middle Florida on the coast.

Elements

The cold front tore a ripping blast
From west by South to east by north
Unpleasant wet an iconoclast
Set on disruption for all its worth

All night it blew itself along
Spreading its noise to other folks
Morning arrived in crisp cold song
To stars sunrise and frosty walks

It's strange how nature moves awry
With pestering rhythms and noxious rhyme
To complete its poem of wind and sky
Resolving all in perfect time

This is great work, Joe. It rhymes, but in a very pleasant, relaxed way.

Yah, I saw the news about your strange weather too.
Great poem. Well done.

I saw the news of snow and wind in Northern Florida yesterday. We are having very exciting weather lately, everywhere! You wrote a perfectly rhymed and lovely poem. Enjoyed reading it.

Florida's rhymes have been tempestuous and unseasonable (unreasonable) of late.

Like Rob I enjoy the form and rhyming. It's good to read your words again.
