Fractured Autumn by M.A.Meddings

Fractured Autumn

Your words come soft
On cyber waves
Into this fractured autumn
And enchanted, your eyes
Touch my soul
As I
Embrace
This beautiful illusion.
Then
I see the real you
On cyber waves
Transferred images
Deeper enchantment
Beauty unsullied
A beguile complete
In the radiance of your smile
And your face becomes
A face
A man could build a world around
Were he free
Fractured autumn

Cyber waves or not....it is possible to embrace the heart and soul of another. A beautiful rendering of such relationships.

This one is indeed special to my heart.

Ahhh. ...indeed were he free.

A wonderful and compelling title with a verse left that does not disappoint. Such emotion and vision here, that simple words can touch so deeply.

Fractured Autumn, those colorful days, that clearly mark the nearing of one's winter slumber....Ahhhh. Indeed were he free.

Wonderful as I have come to expect. Always a pleasure to read your verse.
