In hope for a new year

Summer's Light in Winter's Night

Finding Summer's light in Winter's night
Seeking the warmth of friends at year-end's sight
Longing for the smile of my heart's delight
Reaching out for peace and to make things right
Hoping to begin, again, to see a future bright

The leaving of past to present make
A hope of life, in each breath I take.

So beautifully written Kathy. The theme so well defined and evolved. This resonates so well. I share the same hopes and wishes.
Happy New Year!
