Trouble

The trouble I seeked
The trouble I found
Were never the same

The trouble I got
Only I have caused
And you were not to blame

You'll come to find I envied
I cheated, I framed
I've jumped through hoops of fire
To never get blamed
Youll soon find out I cried
I've shouted out lies
I've cut all my ties
With innocence

But my trouble are my own
And you'll have to deal with that
Although to me you've always shown
More love than I deserve

Even though the trouble I seeked
And the trouble I found
Were never the same

The trouble I got
Only I have caused
You were not to blame

chuma okafor
It has an appeal of a reflective dialogue with an unseen fellow existing in ones heart. I like this.
