an old Easter poem.

Lily White

Lily White,
You gave a clean slate
To all who tortured you,
All in the eyes of hate.
Lily White,
you humbly forgave
the mocking laughter
that brought you shame.
Lily White,
You washed away
The blackness of sin,
All for us,
So we could enter in.
