people.
In return,
Aztec people
boldly faced
the armed soldiers,

conquerers,
Spaniards.
They were...
surprised by
the attack.
They had
to flee for
a safer place.
Across rivers,
across channels,
across causeways.
But...
their armor
and...
their...
no,
the Aztecs'
gold
and treasure...
weighed them down.
And they
perished
into
the depths of the sea.
Spaniards,
Conquistadors,
conquerers
had...
one,
just one,
night of sorrow.
Aztecs had
an
endless night
of sorrow that lasted...
a lifetime...
