Mario's adoption day by Leila and Alex and his parents' funeral by Ann Wood

Today is the funeral of little Mario's parents, followed by the adoption procedure. Mario is wearing his newest clothes bought by Leila and Alex. He looks like a bit of man, with his new suit and tie, his shoes are glossy and new. Mario is sitting in the limo with Leila, Alex, and Michele. Martin and Monica are with their nanny Linda. The funeral ceremony is small because the young family has no relatives in the city as they have been in it recently. After the funeral, they went for a short lunch at a small Italian restaurant. They had ordered mini pizzas, sandwiches, salad, and cake. After they got off the hook, they went to court for Mario's adoption process. The case went smoothly, and without any problems, they signed all the necessary documents and left the court with mixed feelings of sadness and joy. They returned home where their family and twins awaited them. They had a little party to celebrate Mario's adoption and welcome him to their home and family.
Welcome home Mario shouted all in one voice. Mario cried and said thank you, and you are very kind. In the room, there were so many gifts for Mario. They all talked and sipped their drinks while he slowly opened his presents. By six, everyone was sitting at the dinner table eating stuffed lamb with rice and lamb chops, baked in a stove. Also: green salad with fresh green onions, radishes, eggs and cucumber, potatoes, and vegetables cooked in the oven. There was also a grilled potato and tomato salads, home-baked bread, and pies.
After dinner, which lasted for nearly five hours, the guests left, and the housewives cleaned up and then put the children to bed, and the young women released a movie in the living room and spoke quietly. Today is one month since Mario came to live with them on the day of the accident with his parents. Mario was used to them, but he still cried at night in his sleep. Construction is progressing, and by the end of the year, the hospital and the nursing home will be, finished completed, and equipped. The agency is growing too. Leila smiled and said she was going to bed because she had a meeting with the suppliers in the morning. She wished them a good night and left the room. Alex, a moment later, and she wanted them a night lion and went to bed. Margaret and Michell also wished them a good night and were heading to their rooms when they heard voices coming from the street. Mitchell looked at the cameras and saw some youth fighting, she called 911, and she asks for the police. Police arrived and arrested the young men, who were fighting outside.
After the police have gone, Michelle and Margaret go back to their bedrooms. They say good night to each other again and go to bed.
It is early morning on the next day, Mario is crying in his room when Alex past nearby and hear him. She knocks on his door and asks why he is in tears? -Are you in pain, sweetheart? Do not cry. Mommy is heard now and will help you. He says that he is missing his mom and dad, but he is thankful to his new mommies for being so kind and loving to him.
Alex smiles at him and gives him a big hug. Yes, we all loved you, and you are our big son. Soon it is your birthday, and you will be getting two years old.
Alex helps him to get back to bed and gives him one more hug and kiss than she left the bedroom. She goes into the kitchen, makes her a cup of coffee, and goes to her office where she starts to work.
At seven o'clock, the other three women go to the kitchen and start cooking breakfast. Margaret put the clean dishes in the cupboard; Michelle gets to peel vegetables for lunch soup while Leila prepares breakfast. When the breakfast was ready, Leila calls Alex to comes and have breakfast with them.
After breakfast, they clean up the kitchen and decide today to stay and work from home so they can spend more time with their children. Margaret went to watch the children while the others worked in the office. About ten children woke up, and she changed them and fed them. After breakfast, she took them for a walk in the garden, some fresh air. After an hour, the weather broke down, and it started raining. Margaret drove the children into their house and put on dry clothes. Then everyone went to the games room, and Margaret picked up a booklet to read the tales. Mario liked the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Around noon, they sat down to have lunch in the dining room. First, they started with the vegetable cream soup, then the chicken pop pie with mashed potatoes and stewed vegetables and salad, and for dessert, they had apple pie with vanilla ice cream and vanilla cream.
In the afternoon, they all watched children's films in the home theater. They had popcorn and soft drinks and orange juice for the kids. Mario was very pleased with the home theater and movies he watched. Then they went back to the games room and played angry men and dominoes. When the rain stopped, they went to the vegetable garden to grab fresh vegetables for dinner. For dinner, they had BBQ meat leftover and made salads and potatoes in the oven and for Mario fried potatoes with cheese.
At dinner, Mario told them that he had a lot of fun today and that he had never had a home theater or any other entertainment before. Because his parents were poor and sick, he implied that they were drug addicts and alcoholics.
Everyone ate silently after hearing Mario's story. After dinner, the adults retired to talk in the library while Margaret stayed with the children in the games room. They discussed that they should continue to provide Mario with a family he had never had before. They also planned a party for his birthday, which is a month away. They decided to invite not only the family but also all their friends and employees from the agency. They made a menu, a guest list, called the catering company, even artists from the children's theater to entertain the children and DJ, decorators to decorate the house and garden for the party, and last but not least to choose a birthday cake.
When they were finished, the children were long asleep, and Margaret was watching some show on television. They sat on the couch next to her and stared at the show. After midnight, everyone wished them a good night and went to bed.
