Not how I imagined the apocalypse...


How are your lockdown days?

They're going
as I suspect yours are...
long and uneventful
filled with news of death and destruction
eating out of boredom
smoking out of boredom
drinking out of boredom
toking out of boredom
dying of boredom.

Our rural isolation is nearly Paradise. I'm dreading the return to seeing jet contrails in the sky, and engaging in the mundane tasks and vicissitudes of life.

I do sympathize mightily with those who are truly in lockdown/isolation, and heartsick at the politics of the day.
