Autumn Equinox

I've witnessed willows weep,
leaves keep and
lindens perfume
drift unseen.

I've seen thistles bristle,
blackberries swell and
punctuate hedgerows,
purple fingers.

I've seen herons haughty,
flowers nodding and
bees thrum,
natures life.

I've seen the brook
singing, bringing and
mighty oaks grandeur,
acorn tokens.

I'm seeing change,
slow subtlety and
earth sighs.....
Autumn equinox.

Words can affect our lives. This one has made me feel the reality of beauty. Sorry if that sounds too dramatic.
Happily bookmarked this treasure.
