Pleasant, warm, exciting
Where words and phrases
Translate to melodious verse
Conversations to instant symmetry
I find a consistent rhythm
With each movement
of our ongoing folk lore
An electrifying moment
Discovers questions
That become transparent
Is this the paired soul
That can
Protect my heart
Protect my soul
Pursue my care
Make me laugh
Make me cry
Take my irrational moments?
A thinly veiled caricature
Forms an image I feel
At exactly the right moment
Precisely with a whisper
That unlocks my subconscious
With a sense of comfort.
Looking does not reveal
Searching gathers no results
Inquiring discovers no answers
At the moment I least expect
When there is no barrier
To my wandering mind
Is when a connected
Happenstance becomes
