The Shimmering Winter Tree

I sit upon a hardened log
In a winter pine scented forest
The snow hangs Christmas ornaments
On a shimmering tree of frozen air
My breath exhales crystal lights
That fly into the night
The picture timeless
My heart beats softly
Measuring eternity
