True Nature

Walking through
The centuries
Weight of the world
Resting with me

So tired of living
Through the motions
Hunted like an animal
My time is nearing

I can feel it
Blowing on the wind
So few of us left
The humans unaware

No one knows our
True nature
Nobody realizes their
Fates rest with us

In the shadows
We hunt each other
Battling for eons
Until there is only one
