How are you by Ann Wood

How are you my friend?
How are your days?
In the gray, hurried weather,
do you keep more-
your laughter and dreams?

I think of you every time-
although so many times divide us,
I remember in detail the previous summer,
and the latter, together,
days spent ...

What's new is happening in your life,
frankly hurried and often raw?
I look at our photos sometimes
with a little nostalgia and a lot of love.

How are you my friend?
Are you happy or do you have tears in your eyes?
Did you get used to loneliness?
Or does it still weigh on you?

More winters and more summers will pass,
as youth leaves us,
and then wiser with white hair
but they kept their spirit and their madness,
we will have our time as before
to stop and look around with a little sadness,
without hindering and dividing the world.
