we were always so close to magic...always..just about close


Far far far

You are so far
even when you were next door
you were far
not truly far in one way
but still far in another.

We have been connected
from that one moment
onwards
may be thats how it is
for the people
who stay with us..
like really stay with us
yes, like that.

i never got to feel
this near- far thing
till i understood
how near feels like.

May I add that I think there is sometimes a loneliness in that kind of nearness. An oxymoron if ever there was one, but I feel equally true.
