Just the ramblings of an old man disillusioned with much of humanity! Not all, you understand. There are some good bits!
RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR EYES
So much pain in the World.
So much suffering and angst.
We pray to varigated gods
asking for divine intervention;
we contribute our clothes,
donate piles of money,
bemoan the fate of those
suffering lonely souls.
All this in times of 'peace'.
We do not realise
(or do we hide our eyes?)
that there is never peace:
There is always greed,
untamed misguided lust,
duplicity by bucket loads,
mendacity and plain evil
right in front of out eyes.
