Sunny day by Ann Wood

It is sunny, and my friend and I are going for a walk in the park.
The park was full of people and dogs, and everyone enjoyed the summer.
We walk and talk, and one little dog comes to us to play.
It was such fun; we petted the dog and said hello to his owner, an old lady.
After the walk, we go to the cafe shop and have some coffee, ice cream, and lemonade.
We got a small cake to take home, it was my friend moms birthday, and we made her a surprise.
She was so happy to see us and that we had her favorite cake.
We sing her happy birthday song and cut the cake; I make some tea and coffee for us and wash some fresh fruits I buy on our way to her house.
We ate our cake. It was so yummy, and my friend's mom asked us to stay for dinner.
I helped her cook a roasted lamb with baby potatoes, carrots, root vegetables, and small onions. We made a mixed green salad with spring onion, radish, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, avocado, olives, spinach, and croutons. I make village salad with yellow, red, pink, and green tomatoes, cucumber, red, yellow, and green peppers, red and white onions, olives, chili, and cheese, with a lot of fresh herbs and dressing with honey, tablespoons of vinegar, olive oil, salt, balsamic and some strawberries. For starters, we make the samosa, chicken wings, risotto with seafood, baby octopus, and plate with dry salami and yellow chees.
We had dinner around seven o'clock. She invited her family and some friends to the birthday party. Her sister ordered a big cake, some pizzas, a few grilled chickens, and Indian food. Some other ladies cooked some food too we really enjoyed the meal and stayed until late playing party games and dancing. When we sent the last guest, I helped my friend to clean the house after the party. After we finished, I wished a good night to them and went home.
Once at home, I call my friend to let her know that I am at home and safe. We talk a bit longer and then say to each other good night. I go to bed with a big smile on my face. I was so happy that we made my friend's mom so happy today on her 90 birthday.
The following day I received lovely flowers with chocolate and a thank you card from my friend's mom. I called her to thank her for the gorgeous flowers and chocolate. I invited her and her daughter to come for Sunday dinner at my place.
She said she would love to come and visit me, and we said goodbye and closed the line.
