STUCK IN THE PRESENT
The present always seems forever,When really it's in our past.
It seems to last forever,
An omnipresent that never lasts.
Yesterday the present was present,
Until yesterday went away.
A fleeting moment of time,
Becoming another day.
Yet the present is always mocking,
As though it doesn't really care.
And as far as I'm aware,
There's no future in the present,
So why are we all still here.
