I USED TO THINK

I used to think l could,
glance beyond the stars.
Then again with my eyes,
I could never see that far.

I could never smell,
a copper rose.
For I never,
Had the nose.

I wish that I could hear,
The silence of my ears.
Tinnitus is the crime,
There ringing all the time.

Although my ears,
Are ringing all the time.
There's no one in,
To answer em.
