To please my lover.
There are inumerable molecules to make up this love.
Here are just a few of them...
A FEW MOLECULES OF MY LOVE
Tiny green buttons across her knitted top.
The feeling of caring from holding hands.
The silhouette of her head in bright sunlight.
The twist of her head to look around at me.
Her shoulder resting next to mine.
The touch of her foot on mine in bed.
Sharing a dream on a make-believe cloud.
Her slim fingers touching my skin.
Her long dark hair in that yellow dress.
Her excitement at finding what the gift was.
Her presentation of a meal that she's cooked.
Sharing with her a tangy fruit sorbet.
Sitting with her at a restaurant table.
Seeing her wearing our engagement ring.
Appreciating, adoring, her gift of constancy.
Hearing her sing in a far off room.
Feeling her slim body so close in a hug.
Valueing the things she does just for me.
Wanting to care for her for ever.
