More on the chill out zone later

Chilled Beer

Its happened.
Forget Coffee
or even the tea
I can smell beer.
and taste its
frothy texture
even if there is
none so chilled
in the near vicinity.

Looks like
i am hitting the chill out
zone.

Its a good crib to have
that i am forgetting the
wine and fine dining
I had cocooned myself.
Yeah! may be its the Prosecco
that did me in
for i would relish it
in air crafts,in airport lounges,
in a castle or a palace
in morning breakfast
or regular dine outs
moving across cities in a train
knowing that i would
soon be letting go of it
out of my own sweet will
and that its only the natural ambience,
which adds to the sparkle in each sip.

Its been worth it
to not having to sit
by any waves of the memory
hitting the shores of my cortex
exactly like the waveless beach
of Marseille
for all those days
were inhabited fully
and beautifully
with GPS lost.

And just today
a while ago
it comes back to me
The beer aroma
the chilled taste
the frothy structure
pouring out of that tall glass
by the Black Sea
in the city of Constanta.

Its a fancy place
i mention but its grown on me
now-
blowing away at the froth
and staying clear
of the bubbles.

Interesting poem, Sona. It reminded me of all those times when a scent brought back memories of nice things - mainly. The sense of smell is a powerful memory stimulant. Is that a run punch I smell......... ahhh: Sandy beaches, warn scented air, Pebbles cafe on the beach..... Blessings, Allen
