Of Pebbles and Elephants

Occasionally
your bowl holds pebbles
sundry wood ear mushrooms
shrunken elephants

pick one up
hashi or jeotgarak
similar function
different taste in your mouth

on your ear

crunch of words
eating that mountain
chopped up elephant
same bowl

because the mountain
cannot fit
