Tomorrow
If getting up means breaking downif breaking up means getting down
then tomorrow and tomorrow
as Shakespeare phrased it
A heart is breaking
or maybe not
So not worth it in the long run, you know?
There are meds to take
No need to stop those toxic habits
Everyone does it
Be normal and fit in
Resilience is getting up
even when breaking down
There are things greater than a heart
Things that call me and will live on
Things worth backing off, away, out
to protect the heart
and earn the tomorrow
