Echoes of You
You said it’s over,
But the scars were so deep,
Couldn’t heal, nor erase ever,
Your memories haunt me every now and then.
Heart is heavy and couldn’t sleep,
Your kisses, caresses, your tender touch,
Reminds me of playing hide and seek under the couch,
My soul’s a wound, it bleeds where you once shone,
Each heartbeat screams your name through endless night.
Your absence rips my core, I’m left alone,
A shattered husk, no spark, no hope, no light.
I miss you like a dying star’s last clutch,
Your ghost sears through my veins, a piercing cry,
I’m drowning in this void where love won’t die.
