This one was for a lady local to me who lost her husband, and with me losing my wife I had a good idea what she might be going through, but it seems I write from the deceased persons POV, I noticed this with 'Chequered Flag' then 'Little White Feather

Worry Not

Worry not my wife,
For my life was lived with you for a reason.
Worry not my wife,
Together for life through all the years and seasons.
You may think I’ve gone,
But like the sun that shone on the very first day we met,
I’m always with you,
Even after that shining sun has had to set.
So worry not my wife,
As you’ll see all kinds of signs that I’ll send.
So lie back and dream,
For I’ll be watching over you as you touch the rainbows end.
You see, my wife
You’re here as you still have work to do.
Being a Nan to our grandkids,
Because yes, they will always be there for you.
