So, I am using this account, for now, to post my older stuff under consideration of revision.
Here is where I welcome input or suggestions if one has any. Thanks for reading, regardless.
I will post new poems on my original page under Melanie Sue.
Of introspection-
color-treated
with natural instincts-
and regrets still grieving
for the lost years
waiting on the other side
of the last bridge burned
only to meet
premature abandonment
all while weeping
with wonderment
in the tiny grip
that nourishes
a new bloom

Author's Note: ...not quite finished
*Update 3/16/26
My mother was ailing and passed in January 2012. I took care of her at the end. It wasn't easy. We had developed a stormy relationship that thankfully was able to heal and in the aftermath about a year later,
our youngest son was expecting his first child. That first child turned out to be a boy [now over 6'2) and a girl-twins, born Feb 26, 2013 that are now 13- both proficient in basketball] My grandson is very tall and still growing, and a basketball allstar!
