Lovelorn Tankas- the second movement

6

Naked tears, hid back,
By restless hands tell more.
And light pushes that
Speak “I want to be alone.”
So, why do you hold me close?

7

Angry words, so harsh,
Wake me up like waterfalls
With every scolding
I kneel, for I’m beaten down.
Soon enough maybe I’ll drown.

8

All we do is lay
Next to each other and sleep.
Words- unreachable.
Maybe we can talk in dreams
Where I don’t lie and you’re free.

9

Texts from your lover…
I turn away but my hand
Still lies on your hip
And melts in it like honey.
Unlike bees I’m stuck in it.

10

Loneliness is cold
But your eyes can grow colder
When you disapprove
Of half thought words that I speak.
I’m freezing now. Where’s relief?

Every one tells that little bit more of this love's story. How open, exposing, and self analysing is that phrase, "Maybe we can talk in dreams / Where I don’t lie and you’re free." Beautifully written I think. Blessings, Allen
